For our latest collection, Curious Chapter, we drew inspiration from some of our favorite children’s books — the kind that spark wide-eyed wonder, giggles at bedtime and the kind of curiosity that leads to big, grand adventures.

Every print is lovingly brought to life by our team of talented creatives and are filled with whimsical details. Each design carries a story of its own, imagined through the Maison Q lens of play and exploration.

Zoophoria & Hungry, Hungry

This pairing brings to life two of our favourite childhood classics — stories we grew up reading again and again, now reimagined through the whimsical lenses of Maison Q.

Zoophoria is inspired by a well-loved classic. This special print features the various animals sent to the boy in the story — from the too-fierce lion to the too-jumpy frog — all now happily frolicking in a cheerful zoo setting. We’ve added dogs throughout the print as a sweet nod to the pet that he finally kept. Set on an exuberant orange background, the print is set to bring smiles all around. 

Hungry Hungry, on the reverse, takes cues from the famously ravenous caterpillar from another well-loved classic. In our interpretation, we have given his feast a fresh new twist. Our version has the caterpillar munching on the same things but in different forms. Instead of a slice of orange, we imagined him going through a carton of orange juice. And instead of a slice of cheese, we reckon he’d like it in spread form instead? And don’t forget, it was a little leaf that made the creature feel better in the end. Can you spot it?

• A crew neck baby girl onesie that features gathers at the thighs and frill details on the sleeves. When worn, the onesie fashionably puffs up from the waist to the thighs making your lil’ girl look as cute as a button.

• Snap closure buttons at the bottom of the onesie and halfway down the back for ease of wear and to help facilitate a quick change of diapers. 

• This is a reversible piece and can be worn inside out. Double the fun, twice the mileage.

• 100% cotton.

Care Instructions

• Gentle machine wash, on cold.
• Wash with like colours in a laundry bag.
• Do not soak.
• Iron on medium heat. For a reversible apparel, iron on medium and away from the hemline. Iron towards the centre of the apparel so that the two pieces of fabric in your reversible piece does not gather at the hem.
• Do not iron over brand labels or snap closure buttons.
• No clothes dryers.
• When washing, be mindful not to use too much detergent as this, in some cases, may affect the durability and colour of the cotton (a natural fabric) in the long run.
